If you have two profile in microsoft outlook, one for company mails while one for personal mails, in normal scenario, you will only able to open one profile in microsoft oulook at a point of time.If you want to open another instance for another profile, how can you do that ? For example, if you are having outlook open now to receive your company mail, and suddenly, you would like to check your personal mail too. In this case, you will need to close your current outlook and then open outlook again for your personal profile as Window will not allow you to open two outlook at the same time. But, there is a smart solution for you here. To make this possible, you just need a small simple tool which is named as ExtraOutlook v 1.2. It supports an ‘extra’ Microsoft Outlook instance that can be connected to different Exchange server simultaneously in the same PC system, enabling a more efficient multi-tasking environment for end users. You can download it from ExtraOutlook. After download, you just need to unzip it to c:\. To launch it, you can execute it at command prompt using the following command if you are familiar with command prompt. C:\extraoutlook.exe "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" If you are not familiar with command prompt, you can copy the above command and paste in Run to execute it or do the following.
When you open extra outlook, you might notice that it still open the same profile of the extra outlook. In this case, you will need to perform the following to enable profile selection.
